Danuta M. Wojnar, PhD, RN, MN, MED, IBCLC, FAAN is the Dean and Professor of the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions, University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas, USA. Dr. Wojnar is an experienced academic administrator, faculty, and scholar. After graduating with a Master of Arts in Russian Philology with a focus on education from Yagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland, Wojnar started her career as an educator. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and master's in nursing degrees from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. In 2005, after graduating with a PhD in Nursing Science from the University of Washington in Seattle, she joined Seattle University faculty. At Seattle University College of Nursing Wojnar served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs. She was also an N. Jean Bushman Endowed Professor in the College of Nursing at Seattle University. A common thread woven through Wojnar's life, faculty work, and scholarship, is a tireless commitment to eliminate inequalities and injustices in health by improving understanding of diverse populations health care needs and expanding access to primary care. While a Maternal-Child nurse educator in Canada, Wojnar co-developed an award-winning Multicultural Health Program. As a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellow (2012-2015), she participated in the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Academy of Nursing work to define the optimal role and scope of practice for RNs in the primary healthcare environment. In 2016, Wojnar was commissioned by the Macy's Foundation to write a State of the Science manuscript on primary care and nursing education and to participate in the Primary Care Summit. Her most recent service on the national level includes work on the nursing program assessments for the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accrediting body and the American Colleges of Nursing taskforce to develop new essentials to guide nursing education in the United States. As a member of the American Academy of Nursing, Wojnar is also an active member of the Primary Care Expert panel. Wojnar’s program of research closely aligns with her values and clinical practice interests and includes support of breastfeeding women through research and policy development; culturally sensitive care to diverse populations, with special focus on lesbian and other nontraditional families after unexpected pregnancy loss; and application of theoretical frameworks to meet the healthcare needs of diverse populations in the United States. She is also interested in the development and assessment of professional comportment of nurses internationally and published with international team scholars on the topic.
Dr. Ken Miller began his career as a nurse in 1971 as a staff nurse in an ICU in Lansing, Michigan. His career trajectory took him up the academic ladder so that he obtained both a Master's and Doctorate in Nursing research. He then added to his CV by acquiring a Master of Jurisprudence Degree in Healthcare Law and has served as an expert witness in reviewing malpractice cases against nurse practitioners. During his journey he served approximately 6 years in the Navy and had the opportunity to be on the Medical Emergency and Trauma Unit for the White House. He has served as the President of the former American College of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the former National Nursing Center Consortium, and currently serves as a team leader for the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education. He also served as the Director of the School of Nursing in Delaware, and an Interim Dean at the Catholic University of America. In March of 2020 he responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and helped in the establishment of the first testing site at UT Health, San Antonio, School of Nursing. He currently serves as the Associate Dean for Ambulatory Services and supervises the Wellness 360 clinics here at Alamo District as part of UT Health, San Antonio, School of Nursing. Dr. Miller Also serves as an Associate Editor for The Journal for Nurse Practitioners.
Joanne's role at Wrexham University is Associate Dean within the Faculty of Social and Life Sciences, responsible for the Nursing, Allied Health and Sports Injury Rehabilitation undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Joanne has been a nurse for nearly 40 years and in education for over 20 years. She says, I am passionate about teaching people to care not just about the body, but the whole patient, the body, mind and soul. Registered with the professional body, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Joanne is nurse, district nurse, nurse prescriber and nurse educator. Joanne is skilled in research design, lecturing (subjects: Advanced Clinical Practice, professional practice, and research methods), and curriculum development. Research is important for the development of professional practice, and the first of Joanne's interests is spirituality and its expression in nursing care, which she has been researching since 2009. More recently she has been partnering with her Computing colleagues in the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology, investigating the effect of Companotics (robot pets) on wellbeing for people with dementia.
I am Aziza Mahmud, an educational leader with over 20 years of experience in the field of nursing and curriculum. I am currently Dean at Ponce Health Sciences University, where I lead the development and implementation of innovative, high-quality academic programs for health sciences students. Previously, I was MSN Program Coordinator and Professor of Nursing at NUC University, where I oversaw curriculum design, outcomes evaluation, faculty recruitment, and program accreditation. I have a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum from Caribbean University, and I have a Master's Degree in Critical Care Nursing from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. Dr. Yu Chye Wah is the Professor and Dean at Faculty of Allied Health Professions, AIMST University Malaysia. His research passion is to solve medical problems conservatively preferably with class I interventions. His past research was on conservative management of ano-rectal and uro-gynecological disorder using innovative approach with bowel aid. His recent clinical studies focus on managing umbilical cord care in neonates using Wondaleaf adhesive pouch to reduce risk of external contamination. It serves as barrier dressing to ease cord care and prevent cord infection and sepsis.

Dr. Gharaibeh is currently the dean of Nursing at Amman Alahlyya University and a professor at the faculty of nursing “Jordan University of science and technology. A member of the WHO Academy-quality and standards committee and ISQua expert. Former Secretary General of the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC) Headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein. Dr. Gharaibeh worked as a Dean of Nursing at Jordan University of Science and Technology and Al alBayt University between the years 2001-2010. In addition to her academic career, she works as a national, regional and international consultant on various issues including health systems development and evaluation of maternal and child health services, for various international organizations such as WHO, USAID, UNFPA and other Arab and Jordanian institutions in addition to evaluation of quality of education programs and accreditation of education programs. Dr. Gharaibeh has published and is publishing in numerous international journals on health and empowerment of Jordanian/Arab women mainly on women's health.
