Jacques E. Chelly is an academic specializing in anesthesiology and acute pain management. He is currently a professor at the University of Pittsburgh with dual appointments in the Department of Anesthesiology and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also Director of the Division known as the Acute Interventional Perioperative Pain Service (AIPPS) at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).[1] Chelly has authored over 150 publications since 1979, and continues to be one of the leading investigators in anesthesiology research. He is currently the Vice Chair of Clinical Research at the UPMC.
Dr. Davidson’s focus is organ transplantation, Dialysis Access in End Stage Renal Disease patients. He has spent most of his professional life as Professor of Surgery, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, TX, where he also was the Medical Director of the Vascular Access Clinic at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is a member of societies, such as the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Society of Transplant Surgeons and The Transplantation Society (International), Texas Transplantation Society (former president), and a past Board Member of Southwest Transplant Alliance (Organ Bank). Dr Davidson’s research and experience is reflected in books, peer reviewed publications and proceedings. He is a current or past Reviewer for Critical Care Medicine, Journal for the American Society of Nephrology, Clinical Transplantation, Kidney International, and Juvenile Diabetes Foundation-International. He is member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Vascular Access. He has directed postgraduate programs dedicated to Transplantation and Access for Dialysis most notably CiDA (Controversies in Dialysis Access) now at its 17th year. He is a lecturer at congresses and symposiums in the USA and worldwide. The main focus is safety and team building strategies.
Dr. Doreen E. Soliman is an anesthesiologist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside and UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She received her medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Palmerindo Antônio Tavares de Mendonca NÃcto Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Ceara, with medical residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology from UNIFACISA, with Fellow in Regenerative Medicine by Orthoregen, Member of the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine, member of the Brazilian Medical Society of Shockwave Treatment. He works at the Brazilian Institute of Regenerative Medicine, in the state of SAEO Paulo, Brazil, a researcher focused on biophysical stimuli and the use of orthobiologics in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, neurological and degenerative diseases. It performs medical care and minimally invasive interventions for the treatment of arthrosis, tendinopathies, neurological injuries and sports injuries. He is currently conducting a research project with the use of orthobiologics and physical therapies for the treatment of spinal cord injured patients. Develops research in the field of maximizing orthobiological products and their applications in regenerative medicine.
Dr. Ioannidis studied medicine in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and graduated at 2005. He received his MSC in “Medical Research Methodology†in 2008 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in “Surgery of Liver, Biliary Tree and Pancreas†from the Democritus University of Thrace in 2016. He received his PhD degree in 2014 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki for his thesis “The effect of combined administration of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in ulcerative colitis. Experimental study in rats.†He is a General Surgeon with special interest in laparoscopic surgery and surgical oncology and also in surgical infections, acute care surgery, nutrition and ERAS. He has received fellowships for EAES, ESSO, EPC, ESCP and ACS and has published more than 130 articles with more than 3000 citations and an H-index of 28.
Prof. ALDO ROCCA is a researcher and lecturer at the University of Molise (UniMol) in Italy, where he teaches general surgery. He is also a member of the young commission of the Italian Society of Surgery (SIC) and a speaker at various national and international conferences on surgical topics Prof. ROCCA's main research interests are related to minimally invasive surgery, especially laparoscopic and robotic surgery, for the treatment of liver cancer and colorectal . He has published several papers and book chapters on these topics, as well as on the early diagnosis of liver metastases from colorectal cancer.
Sinisa Franjic graduated from the Faculty of Law. The thesis entitled "Legal aspects of information systems" was defended Summa Cum Laude and he became LLM of Law. Since 1992., he work as a journalist - freelance contributor to the first Radio Osijek of HRT (Croatian Radio Television), and then something shorter, among other media, he worked for HTV - TV center Osijek, weekly "Školske novine (School Newspaper)“ and the monthly "Super Kino Video (Super Cinema Video)". In the academic year 2009./2010., Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek (today Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek) he was appointed part-time assistant on the course "Computer Criminality". With Computer Criminality, he is studying Medical Law and a few other legal disciplines. In the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek he participated in the teaching of the courses "Computer Criminality" and "Legal Regulations in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science" and in the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, he participated in the teaching of the courses "Social and Health Legislation" and "Medicine and Health Law". After successfully defending his doctoral dissertation on the topic of criminal law called "The Criminal Justice and Forensic Aspects of Computer Criminality", he received a Ph.D. degree in Criminal law and Criminalistics/Forensics.
